Terms and Conditions for Easy Umpire: Cricket Scorer

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Easy Umpire: Cricket Scorer mobile application (the "App") operated by Easy Umpire ("we," "our," or "us").


By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the App.

1. Description of Service

Easy Umpire: Cricket Scorer is a mobile utility designed to assist users in scoring cricket matches, tracking statistics, and managing team sheets offline on their mobile devices.

2. Local Storage and Data Responsibility

  • Local-First Architecture: The App stores all match data, squad rosters, player stats, and preferences locally on your physical device. We do not host, sync, or back up your match data on external servers.

  • Data Loss & Reset: You are solely responsible for managing your device storage. Resetting the App via "Clear App Data", clearing the cache via your operating system, or uninstalling the App will permanently delete all your stored match records. We are not liable for any lost, corrupted, or deleted match data.

3. Device Permissions and User Content

  • Camera & Gallery: If you choose to assign custom photos to players or teams, the App requests access to your camera and photo library. These images remain strictly on your local device.

  • Appropriate Use: You agree not to use the App to store or display any content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

4. Third-Party Advertisements

  • The App is supported by advertisements served through third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob.

  • We are not responsible for the content, availability, products, or services advertised by third-party sponsors. Interacting with or clicking on third-party ads is entirely at your own risk.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its original source code, UI design, graphics, features, and branding, is and will remain the exclusive property of Easy Umpire. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial cricket scoring purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to ensure accurate calculations (such as run rates, strike rates, and extras), we do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be completely error-free or uninterrupted.

  • Match calculations will always match official match referee decisions.

  • Any defect or bug will be corrected immediately.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Easy Umpire and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • The use or inability to use the App.

  • Loss of cricket match scores, team rosters, or player data.

  • Device malfunctions, hardware issues, or bugs arising from third-party advertising SDKs.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any revisions will take effect immediately upon updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
